NIR Light Therapy®
Near-infrared (NIR) light therapy is considered the most effective wavelength for traveling through soft tissue, joints and muscle to prompt deep tissue and wound healing. It is helpful with improving cellular energy (ATP) production, which can have a wide range of potential health benefits, including but not limited to:
Pain and inflammation, detoxification, faster wound healing,
Boosts cellular health
Increases antioxidant defenses
Improves immune health.
Promotes anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects
Stimulate white blood cell production
Repairs muscle tissue
Promotes faster bone and wound healing, as well as pain relief.
How often should I do NIR therapy?
A 20-30 minute session 3-5 times a week for 1-4 months depending on the condition, has shown to have the best therapeutic results.
Fibrosis Treatment
The most common secondary side effect to Liposuction. Induration which is noticed anywhere from weeks 1-8 can lead to fibrosis. These imperfections occur as a result of the procedure and how the individual heals to injury. It can include lumps, scarring, and thickening areas of the tissue. Majority of the imperfections can be repaired when treated early on. Our treatments will help repair the scar tissue and break down fibrin tissue. We incorporate various techniques that can cause some discomfort.
While this is a lengthy process as we restore the tissue back to homeostasis most clients need on average 10-20 sessions. Please note that we may have to advise those with encapsulated cases to speak with their surgeon for possible revision.
SkinSpired Enzymatic Treatment
This enzymatic cell activation solution improves blood circulation, supports healing, strengthens and stimulates the connective tissue. This treatment can be done once a week. Results will vary depending on the stage of fibrotic tissue and individual response.
Fajas and Accessories
What is a faja?
Fajas, also known as a Girdle originated in Colombia. Aside from accentuating a womans curves, there are 3 stages to fajas post operative that each serve a vital role in recovery and maintenance. Doctors prescribe using a faja to reduce swelling and to ensure the affected skin tightens correctly on their patients. The MmHg within the faja provides a firm control and even compression to the Liposuctioned areas, it encourages blood circulation and contributes to adhering the skin to the muscle tissue stimulating the healing process by reducing inflammation of the tissue and preventing fluid retention.
